I received the first round of hepatitis B vaccinations in October 2005. I didn’t go back for the second round until October 2007. Will it work to get the last vaccine? Should I start all over?

The hepatitis B prevention series consists of three shots. The longer the time between shots, actually the better. There is no need to start over. Please go see your doctor and get the 2nd shot. Three shots are needed for the best protection. Hepatitis B is spread through vaginal or anal sex and needle use. Everyone should get the shots and be protected.
