For Providers
FOR PROVIDERS

Healthcare providers and educators
For over 100 years, San Francisco City Clinic has been providing expert guidance and technical assistance on sexual-health topics to providers from around the world.
We are dedicated to improving the sexual health of the community through our three core activities.
- Patient care: We conduct over 17,000 visits a year in our clinic.
- Clinical teaching: We are a training site for medical and nursing students, residents, and fellows, with over 100 trainees rotating through our clinic annually.
- Research: We participate in NIH, CDC, and industry-funded research projects with a focus on improving STD and HIV diagnostic tests, treatments, and prevention strategies.
Our resources include important alerts, up-to-date guidelines, information on reporting STDs, training opportunities, educational materials for your patients, epidemiology reports, and more. You can also find information here about how to request training assistance and quality improvement around sexual health and HIV topics.
