LINCS (Linkage, Integration, Navigation, and Comprehensive Services) is San Francisco’s team of sexual health specialists who can connect you to HIV Care and sexual health services.

These services include access to testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV, and sexual health education. We are here to help you and your partners get the care that is needed through our partner services and navigation services.

To make sure you get the services you need, our sexual health specialists will:

• Check in with you about how you are doing after being diagnosed with an STI or HIV
• Answer any questions you have about living with HIV or staying healthy
• Work together on next steps
• Ask you for demographic information
• Ask you about your sex partners during the time in which you could have become infected with an STI or HIV or passed an infection to someone else.
• Help find a health care provider appropriate to your needs that you feel comfortable with
• Provide support accessing medications, seeing your healthcare provider regularly, and offering transportation
• Treat you information confidentially and respectfully

It can be difficult to let your partners know that you have HIV or were diagnosed with an STI, which is why we provide partner services.
A sexual health specialist from our team can help with:

• Contacting your sex partners for you and help them get free testing and treatment, all while keeping your information confidential.
• Guiding and supporting you on how to talk with your sex partners
• Sharing the FREE and secure online service TellYourPartner.org that you can use to anonymously message your sex partners that they might be at risk for HIV or an STI
• Reviewing how HIV and STIs are transmitted, tested, treated, and prevented. Learn more and share this information from STI Basics.

Giving your partners the opportunity to get tested and treated will help lower the STI rates in your community and can help prevent you from getting an STI again.

Our team can help you navigate insurance and find a doctor you can trust at a clinic convenient for you. We can support with your medications to keep your viral load low and undetectable so you cannot transmit HIV (U=U).
