Not everyone needs to be tested for everything at every visit. Our experienced staff will talk with you and let you know what tests we can offer you. Depending on your sexual practices and drug-use practices, we may need to refer you to your primary healthcare provider or somewhere else for HIV, HCV, or sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing. As a public health clinic, we have limited funding for testing, and so we can only test people who are the most likely to have an STI. Don’t worry—our staff are experts at determining who needs testing.
